Mary married Edward Phillips and moved to Pompano Beach in 1989 with their baby daughter, Elizabeth. She has lived the district’s questions from the inside: how a family stays housed, how a small business holds onto its land, how a senior figures out a new phone, how a young person coming out of Ely finds a paycheck instead of a dead end.
She built that knowledge in public service and private work. A U.S. postal worker for more than twenty years. Real-estate broker and owner of Push Forward Realty since 1997. Vice president of PF Insurance since 2015. Degrees in business and public administration from Broward College and Florida Atlantic University.
When the city was slow, she started Small Biz CEDC and used it: a Community Health & Wellness Fest, an expungement one-stop, senior cell-phone workshops. SHIP committee, micro-loan committee, Broward County Pompano Beach Residential District Advisory Committee, chamber board.
In 2024 she helped ensure $10 million from Broward County went to home hardening for low-income families. She is not a career politician. She is asking for your vote so that work can sit on the dais.
“I am committed to helping my community and I get things done.”
